T (Terry) Heberlein joins Golden Bridges
At Golden Bridges we are excited to announce that T Heberlein has joined our management team as Director of Sales & Community Outreach. Heberlein brings with him more than twenty years of experience in management, marketing and leadership in the Quincy area. As a part of the team, T will be responsible for relationship building with Golden Bridges partner vendors, senior services and home services providers, and expanding our reach in our 100-mile radius service area.
Golden Bridges will celebrate ten years in business on April 1st. In the past year there have been some exciting milestones including our first physical office space in East Lake Center, and now expansion of our leadership team.
Heberlein has been active in the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce, and was recognized during the 2023 Annual Meeting as the Ambassador of the Year for his extraordinary performance and participation in 2022. At Golden Bridges, T will continue his service as a Chamber Ambassador. He is a member of the Golden K and the Quincy Exchange Club, serving in leadership roles in addition to his community service, and is also active in Madison Park Christian Church as a member of the Worship Team and Elementary Ministry Team.
T will celebrate his 25th wedding anniversary this year with Connie, who is a teacher and director at Ulmus Academy in Quincy. They have two children. Son, Jonah, is an Integration Engineer with Epic in Verona, WI and their daughter, Maacah, who is finishing her student teaching with the University of Iowa and will be married to Greysen Arns in June.
“By hiring T to this position, we are making a commitment to expand our reach and services allowing even more clients to live life better”, says Golden Bridges President Suzanne Ellerbrock. “The scope of our services has grown to include specialty moves, organizing and helping seniors to safely age in their own homes. Having T here to concentrate on sales and community outreach, the owners will be able to expand in our industry and analyze our services to improve the education and development of our team.”
Golden Bridges provides solutions for clients in West Central Illinois, Northeast Missouri and Southeast Iowa. After receiving a $10,000 grant from the Quincy Area Chamber in 2012 as a winner of the inaugural Business Plan Competition, they opened for business on April 1, 2013.
“It has been our privilege to serve more than 420 clients and their families in transition, whether moving, downsizing or organizing”, said Nancy Waters, Treasurer.
“We are very proud of our incredible staff, and T is a great fit for the team. I look forward to giving T the opportunity to train directly with them to learn the business from our experts” said Susan Scholz, Vice President with HR and training responsibilities.
